These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all services, content, courses, memberships, and resources provided by the Trauma Recovery Education Centre (“TREC”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By enrolling in any programme or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Eligibility and Service Scope

TREC provides trauma-informed educational and therapeutic programmes. Our content is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years or older (unless specified otherwise)

  • You understand this is an education platform, not clinical treatment

  • You will not use the content to make diagnostic or therapeutic claims unless you are appropriately licensed to do so

Intellectual Property


All materials, methods, and frameworks (including the TIRCM model, training content, assessments, videos, and documents) are the intellectual property of TREC or its licensors.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or sell any TREC content

  • Present any material as your own or use it in commercial training without prior written permission

  • Modify or adapt our intellectual property outside the terms of your user license

Programme Access and Duration


When you purchase a programme, you are granted access for the specified time period. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service or course offering.


Self-directed content may be available on a time-limited basis

Live sessions, Q&A calls, and group components are subject to scheduling changes with notice

No Refunds Policy


All purchases made through TREC are non-refundable.


By enrolling in any programme or purchasing a membership, you acknowledge:

  • You are responsible for ensuring the programme meets your needs before purchase

  • You waive the right to request a refund under any standard cooling-off period, in accordance with consumer exemption clauses for digital goods and services (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

  • Missed payments on instalment plans may result in revoked access until payment is restored

  • Cancellation of membership renewals must occur before the next billing cycle to avoid additional charges

Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:

  • Non-participation

  • Change in personal circumstances

  • Subjective dissatisfaction where course objectives were met

  • Payment plan completion without cancellation

Placing Orders for Goods

By placing an Order for Goods through the Service, You warrant that You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

User Conduct



By using our services, you agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or disrupt group sessions or other users

  • Share private session content outside the platform

  • Record or distribute sessions without written consent

  • Use TREC platforms for solicitation or commercial promotion

Violations may result in removal without refund.

Disclaimer of Liability


TREC provides trauma education for self-development and professional development purposes only. We are not liable for:

  • Any outcomes resulting from self-application of material without guidance

  • Psychological or emotional distress experienced outside the intended therapeutic context

  • Misuse of material by third parties or participants


Always consult an appropriately qualified professional if you require clinical intervention.

Service Modification and Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Change, suspend, or discontinue services or content at any time

  • Refuse service to individuals violating these terms

  • Terminate accounts with or without notice in serious breaches

Data Protection and Privacy

All data is collected and processed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy] and UK GDPR. We do not share data with third parties beyond essential service providers

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts

User Accounts
